Gilmore announced today he will be staying in his home state to play for the Gamecocks.

1. Stephen Garcia made Freshman player of the week rallying USC from behind 17-14 to overcome Kentucky and win 24-17.
2. Captain Munnerlyn was also named as a special teams player of the week, returning a blocked field goal 81 yards for a touchdown and also had an 81 yard kick-off return.
